[Simply Computers] missing broad band;

 

We are using local ISP here in the Philippines.  Connecting modem thru a linksys router.
Tried going direct from ISP modem to computer...that does not work;  Linking ISP modem with router....that works with other computers in the house.(3 other computers...2 using  win xp, 1 with win 7)
Using win XP...   
Maybe power spike did something to the settings..
